Christa Castro

Christa Castro is a Principal at the Centre for Multilateral Negotiations, where she develops tailored capacity-building programs for governments and civil society organisations, supporting them in preparing for and engaging effectively in multilateral negotiations, such as the COP.

Previously, she served as Ambassador of Honduras to Germany, Executive Secretary for the Central American Environment Ministers Council, and Honduras’ Climate Change Special Envoy.

Across these roles, Christa has championed innovative approaches to turn global ambition into local impact. She built partnerships across sectors and cultures to advance inclusion and resilience, and as a strong advocate for women’s leadership, she is dedicated to breaking barriers and advancing equality worldwide.
