Dylan Kava

Dylan Kava (he/him) is an environmental advocate, political activist, and communications professional from Fiji. He serves as the Strategic Communications Lead at the Pacific Islands Climate Action Network (PICAN), a regional alliance of over 260 civil society organisations advancing Pacific-led climate policy and advocacy in the Pacific region. He also serves as the East Asia and Pacific Regional Facilitator for the Youth Climate Justice Fund (YCJF), a global youth-led fund that mobilises and distributes resources directly to young activists driving climate justice in their communities. With a background in Political Science and Journalism, Dylan has led regional campaigns for social and climate justice, supported youth movements across the Pacific, and continues to champion meaningful youth participation in shaping national, regional, and international policy spaces.
