Thomas Brose

Executive Director of Climate Alliance
Thomas Brose has worked with Climate Alliance, by member number the world’s largest municipal network dedicated to climate action, since 2000. He has served as the association’s Executive Director since 2007.
A political scientist by training, he first focussed his studies on tropical agriculture in the developing world. His main areas of expertise include the interplay between human rights, sustainable development and climate policy as well as relationship between local action and global outcomes; both lie at the very heart of Climate Alliance’s founding principles.
