Roaa Alobeid

Roaa is a climate activist and peace advocate from Sudan and the co-founder of United Beyond Borders, an organization that bridges geographic divides to build a community of young activists from conflict-affected countries across the MENA region. The organization equips youth with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to meaningfully engage in climate negotiations and policymaking processes.

She is an active member of YOUNGO and served as a COY20 Liaison at the Global Conference of Youth held ahead of COP30 in Belém. Roaa is also the co-founder of Kalimate, a platform dedicated to making climate knowledge accessible to non-English speakers.
