Martina Schaub
Association of German Development and Humanitarian Aid NGOs (VENRO)Martina Schaub has been a full-time member of OroVerde's executive board since 2020. After studying Agricultural Sciences with a focus on International Agricultural Development, she worked for several years with the German Development Service in Brazil. She then completed a Master's degree in Development Policy, specialising in non-governmental organisations, at the University of Bremen. From 1998 to 2001, she worked at Germanwatch e.V. as an international trade consultant, and from 2001 to 2007, she worked as a development policy project consultant at the North Rhine-Westphalia Foundation for Environment and Development. She then spent 13 years as managing director of SÜDWIND e.V. and the SÜDWIND Foundation.
During this time, she was a member of the Eine Welt Netz NRW board and served on the OroVerde Tropical Forest Foundation's board of trustees for five years.
She has been a member of the board of the Association of German Development Non-Governmental Organisations (VENRO) since 2017, serving as co-chair from 2021 to 2023.
