German Environment Agency (UBA)Jan Seven graduated with a degree in agricultural engineering, specialising in horticultural sciences and landscape ecology. After completing postgraduate studies in rural regional development, he spent several years working in Southeast Asia for German development cooperation. Since 2009, he has been working in the renewable energies department of the German Environment Agency (UBA) on issues relating to the sustainability of bioenergy.
