Matías Bianchi

Matías Bianchi is the director of Asuntos del Sur, a think-do tank focused on political innovations for improving democracies in the Global South. He is also a consultant for international organizations such as the UNDP, the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) and the Inter-American Development Bank, and ECLAC. He holds a PhD from Sciences Po (Paris) and lectures at the University of Arizona (USA) and at Di Tella (Argentina). His areas of research focus on technopolitics, and political and democratic innovation. He has recently published “The Myth of Democratic Resilience” in the Journal of Democracy and co-edited the book “How to govern in Latin America “ at Fondo de Cultura Económica.
