Ana Carolina Querino
UN WomenAna Carolina Querino is a Political Scientist with a master’s in social sciences with a particular focus on comparative studies in Latin America on Political Participation, Mass Media, and Democracy at the University of Brasilia. She has worked as a researcher on Social Security Policies at the Economic Applied Research Institute for seven years and was an Assistant Professor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for two years. Ana Carolina joined the UN System in 2007, working for UN Women and a brief experience in ILO (2012 – 2013). Ms. Querino held several leadership roles within UN Women since 2007 and currently serves as the Interim Country Representative (a.i.) of UN Women Brazil.
