Dr. Katherine Braun

Dr. Katherine Braun is a policy advisor on migration, human rights, and climate-induced displacement at the North German Lutheran Church. Within the international network ofr faith-based organizations ACT Alliance, she leads the working group on climate-induced displacement. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Platform on Disaster Displacement, the UNFCCC Advisory Group on Human Mobility and Climate Change, the Climate, Migration, Displacement Platform (CMDP), and the Loss and Damage and the Challenges of Human Mobility and Displacement Working Group. Dr. Braun is the lead author of Addressing the Protection Gap – Human Mobility and the Climate Crisis in International Frameworks (Brot für die Welt) and co-author of key policy recommendations on climate-induced displacement by Klima-Allianz Deutschland and VENRO.
